In Switzerland we have each year the Street Parade.

A free outdoor techno festival in the streets of the largest city in the country, where between 700k and more than 1M people attends depending on the years. That's about 10% of the country population of 8 millions.

People are dancing on trucks called Love Mobile or at the several stages accross the lake side.

Also last year the president of the confederation was dancing on of these truck, having a great time without people bothering him.
