Here's how I see relays as being a major game-changer for ALL THINGS. Eg. a dynamic wiki view or comments section.

Imagine that a #topic is a wikipedia article or page. Except that wikipedia is BROKEN because there is a Single Pane of Glass view for the page, which is fought over by all the moderators and becomes eventually a censorship filled moat.

Now imagine being able to select from a set of relays for this view so that the information you are looking for can dynamically change to match your preferences.
