I met a lovely woman. Thirteen weeks pregnant. Recently moved to 11 acres in my county. Tbey are on undeveloped land (no home) and currently living in a trailer until husband can build a cabin.

She plans to have a home birth because she is unwilling to entrust herself and her newborn to our "healthcare" system.

I admire her courage and am not sure I could do the same.

I had my babies 20 + years ago. I am coming to understand that I should have questioned the system more.

Question everything.

Be courageous.

Next time you meet her, encourage her to get on here.

I'd love to follow their journey as they build their new life and send then some zaps ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

Great idea. Should have thought of that.

My fiancรฉe mentioned home birth (weโ€™re nowhere near this yet) and I have to admit it scares the shit out of me. Iโ€™m also skeptical of the healthcare system, but manโ€ฆ it would be great to hear more about this.

I have a handful of friends who have done homebirths without complications. Everyday folk.

There is a community out there for whom this is their norm.

If it helps, just remember humans have been giving birth in their homes for hundreds of thousands of years.. that's only changed in the last 75 or so.

Either way, you've got this ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป
