I've had about all I can stand of this not living in Texas bullshit.

They say "you can take the Texan out of Texas but you will never take the Texas out of the Texan".

While the second part is most definitely true, that first part just falls apart when it comes to myself.

I don't ever remember being this homesick, not even when I was a kid.

It is pretty great here 😁. Sorry you're homesick and mosquito season is upon us, so at least you're missing that 🤷‍♀️

Those of us in AZ, UT, CO, WY, are thankful most Texans are happy living in Texas😂. (I actually grew up in the Midwest and understand missing home so I feel for ya there)

I also miss southwest Colorado as it’s more or less my second home.
