I'll try posting some gold and silver coins later this week.
I'd love to use Bitcoin more in my daily life and biz. Problem is you pay cap gains taxes when you offramp to fiat. Bookkeeping and accounting become (more) nightmarish.
I’m no tax expert in any jurisdiction, but I think that’s why it’s ideal to have it as a currency where you can buy stuff directly with it. Just the same way you don’t pay capital gains taxes on euros when you use them to buy things in euros 🧐
(But then again, you’d never have any captial “gains” by holding fiat 😂)
This is on my to do list this week, figure out how to use Nostr for my herbal tea business.

I feel the same way. I am a carpenter. I do not sell on the internet. All my marketing is word of mouth and always has been. Unless I change careers i am not seeing a benefit here other than as a social media platform and enabling liberty.
