Used to keep a bullet journal for a few years and will get back to it when I find a good enough open source e-reader with writing support.

Some tips from my past experience:

- keep it simple

- keep the structure to a minimum

- it's not a todo app

- it's not a project management tool

- it's a journal

- write it linearly

- mistakes are fine, they are part of the record

While I found the BuJo useful at the time. I discovered the real value when reading my old journals. It allowed me to see how my thoughts and habits changed over time. It's a power tool for introspection.
