I kinda suspect govt could be funding it though, or might want to if they can get their hands on all that data. 🤔

Nah, Worldcoin will continue. Governments love being able to track and monitor the citizenry. And most people are ignorant sheep who would trade their retina scans for a $5 latte.
I assume they can scan your eyeballs easy-peasy from your phone camera...

imo it’ll destroy itself due to weak network effects and long-term demand anyway. I generally think most bad ideas need to be tried once to show people why they don’t work.
