Exactly! Also doubt statistics! Statistics are usually manipulated to prove wrong points to those who have no understanding on research methodology.
Ha ha of course. Remember in 1984 when he was tasked with making up how many shoes had been sold? That always strikes me as being just like now.

I was a research chemist for several years and while I don't believe 97% of all research results are influenced by funding, quite a lot of it is. Especially the high dollar stuff i.e. medical.
I just think after 2020 that there are a lot of players who ruined the credibility of a whole sector.
