So graphene can work but needs google services installed to support firebase messaging.

From what I see some part of Minibits users on graphene have them uninstalled.

I've checked it some time ago. It could send notifications to nfty companion app on device, but I could not see the way how it could wakeup another (react native) app that might be in killed state.
