The American socialist movement is quite a monster at this point. It's worth trying though. I always push back when the term is unjustly levied against me.

Hopefully just not by default due to another mass starvation or murder.
I expect some disaster and plan accordingly.
I'm pretty hopeful though. Especially with emerging tech. 95% odds of a mostly peaceful win in my opinion.
