Everything you say presumes an omnipotent regime. I’m saying they are NOT omnipotent, people they don’t like CAN get into power. Will Trump do everything you’re saying? It’s possible. But it’s also possible that’s not what’s happening.

If Kamala had won, they would have tried to go after people for free speech. Europe would have followed suit all-in rather than having to fight with Trump. The scoldy woke douchebags who presume they’re better than you based on who they vote for and who you vote for (or didn’t vote for) would be staffing every layer of government. We’d be living in an HR department-like nanny state.

The reason we know this is that Kamala isn’t a person with an agenda. She’s just an apparatchik who does what she’s told, and what’s she’s told would be more of the last five years of hell.

What rock are YOU living under? Bondi had to walk that shit back within hours! The anti-semitism shit IS bad, I won’t argue that. But the prior admin literally had a “disinformation bureau” and never walked ANYTHING back. I’m critical of Trump all the time, but the idea there’s no difference, it’s all the same thing is just not credible to me.

That’s a poor analogy. You SHOULD be critical of Trump. More criticism = more pressure to back off. But the idea that it’s just as bad as the prior regime re speech is just not remotely credible IMO.
