Work is essential. Labor is not. Work is love made real. Labor is borrwed bodies.

Here are some ways to generate value without a job (I have personally used each of these and profited):

You provide a service or information that is valuable to your network.

You engage as a node in a market structure and deal honestly and fairly.

you add value to existing assets by combining them with your ingenuity and maybe other exogenous assets as well.

You can master something and teach.
