I don’t think the awkward thing is the cause of the insomnia, in the boredom somehow the mind goes there.

I think it’s just that I don’t truly want to sleep 🤷‍♂️🤣

You can try grounding exercises to help you focus on the present. It can be as simple as deep breathing and focusing on your breaths. Some people do the 5-4-3-2-1 technique too. They both take just a few minutes.
