Currently dont meet the energy demand, but The difference is,

With the ones I mentioned, anyone can go and DIY their own electric power.

With nuclear, you'll use how much and pay for it in what ever currency you are told to by what ever big wig owns it....

Where does buying energy from a big wig nuclear power plant owner empower the individual with more freedom or sovereignty?

It doesn't. While cool, It leaves us still reliant on the current system in place we all want changed because we all get taken advantage of imo...

I'm not falling for that trap again for the NEW or BETTER words...

Imo, its crazy how we haven't used human waste and food waste to create Bio gas that run generators to power... well everything in the world... or am i crazy for thinking that where ever humans are, there will be food, and human waste.

Building blocks of energy production we currently mostly ignore...

But when paired with todays other available technology...

Bio gas ➡️ generator ➡️ bitcoin miner➡️ miner exhaust blows wind turbine while on way to heat your home➡️ turbine powers lights, phone charging, etc.

This chain; reduces waste, creates value, heats your home, and keeps the lights on...

And you literally started with a pile of shit, food waste and water...

Must smell great to run your own bio fuel generator in an apartment 😆

🤔 how would this work in an apartment type setting...

I think I could be done with no smell at all.

Fund me $10k.

Let's find out...

I'll set this whole system up in my 10×20 shed(smaller than an apartment)

That’s how technology works even solar wasn’t viable for individual use at first? We had to iterate first with only nation states as buyers up to a point that we can reach individual use.

Same is with nuclear, nuclear has the capability for nuclear powered batteries, that you can use in your own home, pretty much like solar, but that tech needs to be developed, to be enabled. Needs to be researched, perfected, which is definitely not going to happen if we are so averse to it?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diamond_battery

Not adverse to it.

But us having nuclear batteries in our homes kinda sounds like the flying cars we where supposed to have long ago. Lol. That was when I was 10...

We only have drones and self driving cars after 22yrs...

The Jetson one, I'd love to own, but it's not a flying car, it more of a manned drone in its current state...maybe with time...

I really just don't see it being in our lifetime, or government giving up their fishing pole...

It will probably not, but in the meantime we would have cheap, clean energy? Which sounds like a win-win

Would only be cheap, if who you are buying it from let's you buy it for cheap.

But with someone elses millions of dollars invested into the nuclear plant to power your home and miners.... slim chance of cheap electricity happening...

My bet, it'll cost more, just because, just ike this inflation....

Investors arnt settling for the traditional 3-8% per year anymore...

They want double or more and it'll come from your pocket for what their investment (nuclear power plant) provides you...

But it will get cheaper to produce as technology enhances..

Gas making technology has advanced.

Why isn't it cheaper to fill up my tank than it was for my dad in the 90s?

Food production technology has advanced?

Why are food prices so high?

And lastly

Electric production technology has advanced.

Why has my Electric bill gone up?

Investors that own the stuff, arnt settling for 3-8% returns anymore and Technology doesn't advance on its own. R&D costs money and takes lots of time leading to you paying what they(the investors) say to pay and in what form...

Prices never come down long term, ever, with anything, but shitcoins.

Nuclear is not the way.

Self reliance is.

Biogas, wind, solar, and hydroelectric are all sovereign forms of energy production humans can use to fulfill their own electric needs.

Generating your own Biogas, wind, solar, hydroelectric, similar to PoW/ Bitcoin mining.

Buying Nuclear power from investors(folks that already have money) similar to POS and Ethereum where the value flows to those who already have value.

My two cents is that nuclear is still the way. Just because we are not allowed to harness it doesn’t mean it’s not going to be harnessed by us. Nothing cleaner and nothing with less waste. You don’t need barges, trains, and semi trucks delivering it daily. Not to mention it’s waste has a use of its own too. Maybe I’m hard headed? But I’m also on point with everything else ..
