Pleasure itself is not the sin. It's the things you do to get the pleasure. The goal of christianity is to be transformed, so that the things that bring you pleasure are in line with god 's will.
Further, this quote and Christianity, specifically do not say pleasure is a sin. As you point out, when something other than God, and godliness, becomes the guiding principal, that is the sin. It is a great love of pleasure that is the sin.
