Watching finale of 2001: Space Odyssey made me wonder how does this cinematographic experience feel on acid.

And it was released in 1968, at the peak of the acid era...

You can tell just like with lots of others and music as well. Interesting how it leaves same imprints. But this one is really hell of a trip👀

It has a surface level narrative, and a cryptic narrative layered over it, that's why it feels fucked up.

It makes me wish that a short-duration acid trip was possible.
