They are crashing and burning so hard. When they destroyed a huge amount of content for a tax write off I knew they were fucking idiots. What's the point of acquiring a ton of content from all the mergers and acquisitions if they are just going to burn it?

The season finale of their flagship show, GoT HotD, was the worst rated episode of the series. They cut the season down to 8 episodes from 10 just a couple months before shooting started. Not nearly enough time to actually adjust the script and story to compensate, plus it was in the middle of the writer's strike. Apparently 10 episode seasons are off the table for all their biggest shows from now on.

I need to cancel that shit. It's time to rotate to a different streamer anyway.
