now that we have have a full on-chain management possibility, why not permit to deactivate completely the lightning node? People in some cases would like to use it just as an "on chain wallet"

sorry for my ignorance, but at startup I see lnd logs and a lot of connections enstablished even when I don't have open channels. Is it just neutrino syncing or is there something that could be rethinked to offer a better experience (less computational waste and less ip leaks) to on-chain-only users?
If you want to disable all the graph syncing, submit a PR we’ll consider it, but there’s not enough demand for us to justify working on it.

in 0.8.4 it doesnt permit to use zeus without at least a node (that, if you don't have remote nodes to manage, will be the embedded node)
