after using energy drinks for 25 years i can honestly say that you would have more benefit from just taking adderall than any concoction involving caffeine
amphetamine is way underrated and way over-stated to be harmful
unless you take like 4x the recommended dose, then you will probably lose your mind a bit
but take it properly, on the clock, it's like magic
I'm not talking about energy drinks, but taurine as powder. It makes circulation better at the capillars, has some relaxing effect, increases focus, increases lifespan, enhances sports performance, and whatever else you're taking, you will benefit from taurine. Your body produces it while young. It's food, not a stimulant. It's fine to take taurine without caffeine, but in case you overdosed caffeine, taurine ends the heart palpitations - this is also the reason why they put it in red bull. Then there are other tweaks, like iodine. At least 10mg per day. Your body needs it, loves it, it makes nerves snappy, quicker brain, quicker reflexes, optimalizes metabolism (through thyroid), detoxifies, and a LOT more. Children need it the most for brain development. It adds ~5 to newborn babies' IQ if the mother has proper iodine levels. And a LOT more. There is a protocol for starting taking iodine, selenium and iron levels must be sufficient, and extra C vitamin, magnesium, zinc, B2, B3 vitamins help a lot in the initial 6 months of taking iodine (Lugol's) Iodine made miracles to my life quality back 7 yrs ago, and I'm taking it since then.
Omega3, lecithin, they are what your brain is made of. Take a lot.
Vitamins, minerals - everything has an optimal dose / level. Aim for it. A little excess of them very rarely cause problems. / except for selenium.
You probably know these, and have bio-hacking experience, I just wanted to point out what worked best for me.
THEN, when everything is in place what your body NEEDS, only then I would start experimenting with the extras, teas, microdosing these stuff, amphetamine, adderal, racetams, nootropics, etc.

oh, interesting, i didn't know that iodine has effects on nerve channels specifically
i'm pretty sure that it just bumps out bromine (slow) and fluorine (stop) and lets the channel be clear chlorine
i'm gonna get back into the iodine again... i'm dosing a lot of salt now which is needed to make sure of no problems with iodine, and upping the potassium because i have a severe deficiency (it's making me feel a lot better, and reducing my cramps, only after 4 days) and i just found out that someone reduced their tinnitis using bananas, which are high in potassium (also i'm eating those too)
it may not be relevant, but maybe, my aunty told me about how boron can help when you have issues with inability to absorb calcium and magnesium, leading to nerve problems, cramps and slow bone/tendon recovery... it's a ratio of about 30g sodium borate to 5L of water (so, ounce per gallon) and you take 50ml (so a bit under 2 Fl.Oz) and it will fix problems you might have if they are caused by insufficient boron
boron deficiency is pretty rare though, but i think at least carnivore diets could cause it, in theory, unless you are eating fish, which have quite a bit (boron salts taste like fish, just like potassium tastes a lot like coconut water)

I'm also a big borax fan. I think boron deficiency causes osteoporosis in old age, which is quite common in my country Hungary.
Also, if you up the dose to 7x your auntie's recommendation (30mg boron -> 200mg boron per day), you get some terapeutic effect, it kills mycoplasma infections, and helps cleaning up the lungs by making the mucus less viscose. But it's ridiculously cheap, so doctors won't recommend it ever.

I would recommend trying the 200mg boron per day dose, and if there's no benefit, cut back to 30mg.
Lugol's is best taken in the morning, because any antioxidants you take later (c-vitamin, n-acetyl-anything) reduces the elemental iodine to iodide, which the body needs to convert back to elemental. Keep at least 1 hour between iodine and antioxidants. Also, it might keep you awake at night if you take it late.
i wondered about that issue... i remember that David Brownstein was adamant that lugol's was specific and i know from my chemistry that it contains I3+ (iodine plus hydriodic acid as a complex) which has better lipid solubility so it gets into tissue with low polarity (ie fat) which you simply can't get with plain iodide salts
i'm gonna add back lugol's to my regime, i knew it was probably useful but couldn't see how to use it... having it in the morning an hour before food with a lot of salts and/or with a high fat food is probably the way... so full fat yogurt with lots of salt and iodine in it is probably about right
iodine was the first suplement i ever took that really made a difference, but i also took it with a great increase in salt levels and i didn't understand back then, what i do now - that i have damaged kidneys - that increased salt levels improve kidney efficiency! also fat digestion, which is really important - to the point where i rediscovered when adding potassium chloride to my regime that my body was again producing increased heat, and the key seemed to be the potassium, which also reduced the cramping
so, yeah
gonna add the iodine to the breakfast regime with fatty food and lots of salt, to reinforce it
Hmm, with damaged kidneys you should probably be cautious with higher doses of boron. I know close to nothing about that condition 😕
just want to point out that 50ml of 5g/L boron works out to 5/20, or 200mg per dose, so her dose recommendation is the same as yours
i found it had quite a dramatic effect on increasing my appetite, but it did also help bone healing and my nerves
i need to get some magnesium added to my scheme tho, i don't think i'm really getting enough of it either
ok, the dose is close, so it can be higher... 5/20 is 250mg
the only thing i would warn about it is that it is estrogenic, it can slow down your metabolism substantially also if you have got more than enough

Don't mix up boron and borax. Borax contains 11% boron. So my base mixture is 9g borax per liter, which makes 1g boron per liter, or 1mg/mL, for easy calculations. And I'm still OK with the taste.
I use distilled water because in normal water it creates floating calcium particles, which makes the water opaque, it looks bad and not pleasant to drink.
My experience is that ~200 mg boron increases my libido A LOT for a few days in the beginning. After those days the body adapts and everything gets back to normal. It works by inhibiting testosterone breakdown.
Yeah, once you catch some chronic stuff, e.g. from vaccines, you have to take proper doses from all minerals and vitamins to feel OK.
Myself, I would never take any vaccines since I know what's going on. And I thought I outsmart them by avoiding the vaccines. I was wrong. Once I went to a dentist to pull my last wisdom tooth, where I got a lidokain injection, and I suspect I got some coctail of "agents" in it. 3 days later I came down with CFS, and also my lungs haven't cleared up since then. Wisdom teeth gone, wisdom acquired.
for magnesium, magnesium-bisglycinate is the best form.
