You can't get rugged by docker lol. But your next best option is to just manually install bitcoin core and LND right on the bare metal. It can be tough to setup the first time.
Ok now we are talking i fuxk with bare metal no condoms. Lnd or c-lightning? (Core lightning). I followed payment 402 required bitcoin and lightning server and it said rest-port:3001 not legit ooerstion in my lightning config file.

what do the characters in your cold-walletβs private key look like?
My cold wallets require 3 keys ser
ok good response, because now i remember a real question iβve always wondered abt.
when you have a multi-sig managed with ie two signers, theoretically is there a private key out there that can spend with a single signing event like as if it was a standard wallet
No, the bitcoin script knows that two distinct keys need to sign the transaction to move coins.
I appreciate your generous offer, thank you!
My problem with questions is less embarrassment and more that I tend to get ignored...π I have several, but here's a fairly simple one:
Is it risky to send multiple deposits of bitcoin to a single, unchanging, truly randomly generated, public cold storage address in order to use it for long-term, progressively increasing savings?
It is not risky in any loss of funds sense, but your privacy is at risk. Whenever you send someone coins from this address, they will see your whole stack.
That's why we generally recommend using an address only once.
But it's not a hard and fast rule, just checkout the bitcoin rich list, there are billionaires who use the same address, it's fine.
Thanks a lot!πππ
