I bought first in 2013 but frankly didn't earn the title of Bitcoiner til 2024.
No self custody, no node, no lightning. Spent a lot of time studying tradfi and just letting the bitcoin coast on exchanges.
Got lucky with timing my move from mtgox to coinbase though haha.
Also that buy in 2013 was less on ideological grounds and more interested in market uses. Only held any because it suddenly rocketed when I did.
Though, that said I did very briefly run a node in 2010 on a macbook. No coins and didn't manage to hit a block. Too lazy to figure out how to buy at the time...
