🙋🏼♀️ I’ve been buying small amounts of BTC for the last couple years but 2025 is the year I sold all my stocks and other cryptos to buy Bitcoin.

I makes me wonder which cohort is most represented here. (I’m a 2013 failure to launch 🫠, and then returned for good in 2020, for the record)
I bought first in 2013 but frankly didn't earn the title of Bitcoiner til 2024.
No self custody, no node, no lightning. Spent a lot of time studying tradfi and just letting the bitcoin coast on exchanges.
Got lucky with timing my move from mtgox to coinbase though haha.
Also that buy in 2013 was less on ideological grounds and more interested in market uses. Only held any because it suddenly rocketed when I did.
Though, that said I did very briefly run a node in 2010 on a macbook. No coins and didn't manage to hit a block. Too lazy to figure out how to buy at the time...

There must be a lot of people who joined Nostr and then became Bitcoiners.
I could probably be considered 2024 though I first bought some Bitcoin at the top of 2018. I could have been 2023 since I woke up one fall morning with the vivid thought "I wonder what's up with bItcoin?". I had not been paying attention much for a while. And I frantically couldn't figure out how to non kyc buy a little.
I got into crypto in 2021, and got shitcoined out of the market. Came back BTC only in 2024. This year has been a steady flow of orange pills.
I committed full time to Nostr in December of 2022. It’s been a difficult three years. Very few people I followed on X are on Nostr. Adoption has been slow.

i think about this question a lot. is it still early? and from various angles i think yes, its super early.
when i look at price i think the train just left the station.
imagine the last 10 years society wasn’t talking about ESG and the climate change tax hoax. we should be at one million per coin right now. one million is nothing to a rich person. to us its kife changing.
Price is a very interesting thing to look at, especially with the growth that Bitcoin has had.
It’s so easy to look back and see that we are so far ahead, but so hard to look forward and know how far we still have to go.
But I definitely agree, we are more early than we realise.
