Has anyone made a bitcoin companion app/wallet/website for kids? nostr:nprofile1qqswft34d8euqh383rns727g6dmhu8styneuglznjk28zkj7u0fuaygpremhxue69uhkummnw3ezuum9d3nz6er9w3jhymtfdejkgtnyv5q3yamnwvaz7tmsw4e8qmr9wpskwtn9wvy4hc6t, and a number of Bitcoin kids books are helpful onboarding them to the concept but then the tools get very technical. nostr:nprofile1qqszuwesacyzt8wda6c7rdshl6gv3e7kxf35nld77z7arfeyndweftcpr4mhxue69uhkummnw3ezucnfw33k76twv4ezuum0vd5kzmp0qyg8wumn8ghj7mn0wd68ytnddakj70zh7k7 Blockclock + OpenDime seem like a good way to watch NGU with their stack especially away from a screen. nostr:nprofile1qqsrk63a8wentzpk5ex3eqpf9wtww6vwcddzuh9y2800567n4ulwhpqpz4mhxue69uhk2er9dchxummnw3ezumrpdejqz9nhwden5te0wfjkccte9ec8y6tdv9kzumn9wsqzh80k is visually pleasing.
Wondering if anyone has used any existing app or device in a way that has engaged their children in the #Bitcoin?
Collecting coins is very in a piggy bank is very tangible and satisfying but we all know the problem with that.
A little surprised we are not seeing more discussion about Marines being deployed domestically in the US to support in civilian peace keeping efforts. #Marines #LosAngeles
GDP is going to soar because it is because the math is changing.

There is a lot of talk out there about Bessent’s recent comments about growing GDP faster than the debt. A lot of people are saying that means “the printer is coming” and inflation is going to rise. I do not disagree with that. But it is worth thinking about other “creative” ways that the admin can make GDP grow faster.
All we have to do is look to Lutnick. He gave us a hint when he was in the “All in Podcast” a few months ago and in Fox News where he talks about changing the calc for GDP removing “non-productive spending.” Which in theory would lower GDP BUT he talks about changing “expenses” or something.
Just saying that like admins in the past they will likely get creative before they do “the hard thing.”

I would add the MOVE index to your dashboard of things to watch re: US rates. This has been a pretty orderly move up in rates relative to what we saw in April.
Doesn’t mean it can’t get dicey just hasn’t been that big spike up that spooks the govt.
Holy shit it's working! Paid a 100k sats Lightning invoice from two different Cashu mints at the same time.
Enter atomic multinut payments.

All Cashu wallets let you use multiple mints. To reduce rug risk, we encourage users to leave only small amounts on each mint. This introduces a big UX challenge which forces users to distribute funds on different mints in a smart way. It's particularly problematic when you're trying to pay a bigger Lightning invoice from your small balances. Who has time for that?
The Lightning protocol allows nodes to split a single payment HTLC into multiple parts to increase the chance of reaching the destination, called Multi-Path Payments (MPP). Typically, that's done from one sender to one receiver. What if... you can just break the rules?
A multinut payment originates from multiple Lightning nodes to pay a single invoice, atomically. Even if none of your mint balances can cover an invoice, as long as your total balance is large enough, you can pay the invoice.
I don't think anyone was crazy enough to do this before. Pretty sure what you see here is the first invoice being paid using a CLN and an LND node at the same time. Amazing work by the team, special thanks to nostr:nprofile1qqsw8lr88lzln8x92ng073m4v72kglf9edhxvk8eztg3ftny98f46dgpz4mhxue69uhkummnw3ezummcw3ezuer9wchsz9mhwden5te0wfjkccte9ehx7um5wghxyctwvshsz9mhwden5te0wfjkccte9ec8y6tdv9kzumn9wshsk9y93w.

Buy-Now-Pay-Later loans for music festivals that celebrate degeneracy and nihilism. This is, yet another, blaring alarm bell attempting to warn you of the ills of Late Stage Fiat.

As a late Millennial I don’t understand BNPL. But I wonder if Zoomers use it as a credit card. So saying BNPL is worse might be a Boomer take.
I’m old enough to remember when Sears and K-Mart offered layaway plans.
That’s not fair. You literally could have said anything and it would have gone wrong. No statement that starts, “was chilling at a bar in Boston and…” ends well especially on a weekend night.
Deregulation is the most important part of the next phase for Elon. Autonomous cars, humanoid workers, social media, ai (access to data), more starlink contracts, more influence on NASA (the Space X pilot is running it.)
Yes he is “sacrificing” in the very short term but tesla was starting to wane/falter. He sold to all the early adopters and virtue signalers in US/EU. But the right didn’t buy his cars en masse, so what did he do? A truck. But not just a truck. One for a certain type of person to appeal to the antithesis of what the early Tesla owners bought into. Then there was China… and now Chinese OEMs have caught up and surpassing Tesla. He needed to pivot to gain influence to advance his causes.
What do you make of the AtlantaFed’s adjustment for the influx of gold? Do you buy that?
