But the right didn’t buy his cars en masse, so what did he do? A truck. But not just a truck. One for a certain type of person to appeal to the antithesis of what the early Tesla owners bought into. Then there was China… and now Chinese OEMs have caught up and surpassing Tesla. He needed to pivot to gain influence to advance his causes.
