I am publishing the quote, because the quote is true. Mayer Rothschild is accurately saying that you cannot have democracy in a country where somebody has the power to issue and control money.
I will publish lots of quotes that I find "enlightening" in the future too. I don't care who says them.
I think that the biggest threat to Bitcoin are the Bitcoiners themselves. That is why it’s very important that people understand and internalize the npub1s05p3ha7en49dv8429tkk07nnfa9pcwczkf5x5qrdraqshxdje9sq6eyhe mantra “the natural state of free markets is deflation, a credit based financial system cannot allow deflation”.
It’s hard to comprehend how badly the credit based financial system has distorted our perception of reality. Think about it for a while… People have been convinced of the idea that it’s good for them that they are losing purchasing power all the time thanks to inflation. This kind of nonsense is taught in the universities all around the planet.
The person who “understands” the importance of inflation, is seen as the intellectual. And the person, who does not understand it, is seen as an uneducated moron. One has to be quite brainwashed to “understand and appreciate” inflation.
If people have accepted a brainless idea like that as a fact, what else is not true? If you exclude the things that you can verify yourself, many of the things you believe to be true are lies or half-truths at best.
And how did we end up with as horrible financial system as the one we have right now? What kind of goals did the ‘eccentric dudes’ setting it up have? And what kind of things they were ready to do achieve their goals? And what about the people who have continued the project? Are they just going to quit, apologize, and hope for forgiveness?
So, what I mean is that there will be violence and psyops everywhere. Now, thanks to the Bitcoin white paper, the truth is out there, and it’s spreading fast. And that is why I expect more and more psyops, and very sophisticated ones too.
I think that this whole “Bitcoin is for everyone. It’s for your company, church, school, etc..” is misguidance. Bitcoin is for people. Let’s not forget that Bitcoin is about the separation of money and state, and Bitcoin is rooted in the cypherpunk movement. How cypherpunk your company, church or school can be?
Bitcoin is peer-to-peer cash, no third parties required. If your school owns Bitcoin, and the shit hits the fan (and it will), it’s not like you are safe. And the problem is this:
If Bitcoiners start to think that “they own Bitcoin”, because their company, church, or school has Bitcoin, then they are not going to fight for the right to self-custody. They will see people who insist on self-custodying as paranoid “crypto anarchists”.
And then we will see laws passed against the right to self-custody. And then we will see many people, who we regarded as Bitcoiners, say things such as “Well, this is not ideal, but we live in a democracy and it’s important to respect the rules of democracy.”
I know that it’s impossible to stop people from self-custodying, but laws against it are going to make many people afraid. The state has the monopoly on violence.
I like npub1f4q60j7fklm7sjzdz4ye42g5r3elnguuxajuch2kx8apulfkx0xqf2a37d 's comment “if you don’t own Bitcoin, you don’t own money.”. I like it because it’s so blunt, and it’s black and white. I feel that in that sense Bitcoin is like a heartbeat. You have it; or you don’t. You cannot be exposed to it or “kind of have it”.
The only way to have Bitcoin is self-custody. That is why I want to thank npub1zeuyhtvpk7uzzhhye6s2muz8jw46n2pkvzre933szr4ua473snyqesxvfp He is like a broken record that keeps on playing your favorite song (“Self custody - no third parties required”) on a repeat. If Tony did not have his Youtube channel, he would be going from door to door like a Jehova’s witness and asking people “Can I talk to you about self-custody?”. I know that it’s part of his business, but it was a good idea to start a business that does not deviate from the Bitcoin white paper.
Peer-to-peer cash. No third parties. Sats (not stablecoins) must flow. It’s great that everybody is doing their part in that here on Nostr (except for me, my zaps are not working).

Check him out! Richard Vobes is a very interesting guy. I think that Bitcoiners have a lot to learn from him, and he can learn a lot from Bitcoiners. Anyway, Richard has a lot in common with Bitcoin maxis.
I don’t know Richard personally, but my guess is that it would not be hard to orangepill and purplepill him. This is his Youtube channel:

If you want to know about a topic you probably are not aware of, check out this interview:

It looks like a total BS thing, but there might be something to it. I have met a person who says that he has ‘opted out’ the same way.
PS: I found this conversation between you and npub1eu8jjxdz24k6yfj626tu3vehwl0xz0zq2e5afcq34sh7yn7muuzsq0c6px when I was trying to find Vobes here on Nostr.

Mayer Amschel Rothschild was right. There are no democratic countries. And we have never lived in a democracy or enjoyed the “human rights” that we thought are linked to democracy. Therefore, organizations that are “spreading democracy and human rights” are just spreading the same control system that is controlling the country the organization in question is from.
In any case, democracy is overrated. Rights are taken, not given.
Thank God for Bitcoin.
Happy New Year, everyone!

Yes, definitely. You need to expose yourself to different situations, so that you don’t freeze when it really matters:
In 2017 I released my book 'Choose Life'.
Since then, it has gone on to sell dozens of copies, dozens, I tell you!
If you feel 2026 is a year of change for you and your family, this is a piece of the puzzle that might help you get over the line ;)

npub1s05p3ha7en49dv8429tkk07nnfa9pcwczkf5x5qrdraqshxdje9sq6eyhe, I would love to pick your brain about something. You said:
“China has a better control system than the US. (--) You are not going to beat China with a bigger or different control system. The only way to beat that, to truly beat that, is the free market."
Do you feel that there is genuine competition between the US and China?
I believe that the people in both countries want to be free, but the corrupt people running these countries are pretty much in the same team. I don’t think that Europe is any different in that sense.
MANY of politicians are in a difficult situation because they have traded their own people for fiat and place among ‘the elites’. So, people finding out what has happened is a horrifying scenario for them --> they will do whatever it takes so that the people don’t find out. And thanks to the corrupt fiat system, many of these politicians are the most influential ones.
I don’t want to sound too negative, because the solution is incredibly simple: Bitcoin, Nostr, and strong families and local communities. And probably some good 2nd amendment stuff too so that the existing system can be safely ignored.
In 1992, Henry Kissinger said that:
“A New World Order will emerge. The only question is whether it will arise out of intellectual and moral insight, and by design, or whether it will be forced on mankind by a series of catastrophes.”
You can see it here (the first 30 seconds)
https://www.youtube.com/shorts/51EKUTo61-E
To me it looks like they will try to force it on mankind by a series of catastrophes. I think that those catastrophes have started some time ago, but thankfully more and more people can see what’s going on.

In 1998, he predicted that Internet's impact... that's what I meant to write.
Yes, reminds me of the famous Paul Krugman quote. In 1998, he predicted that its impact would be no greater than that of the fax machine.

I have a confession to make. Whenever I see the name “Keith Meola” on Nostr, I think of Tony Meola (a football legend, born in New Jersey).

And now I see that you are the founder of North Jersey Bitcoin. Any chance that you two are related?
I know a “dog mom” who is posting pictures her “child” on Mother’s Day. The guy who left her does not consider himself a “dog dad” though, so they do not need any shared custody agreements. It’s 2025, and the dog moms have made the crazy cat ladies look pretty fucking based.

This is sad for me. I prefer dogs.
Followed them all! Inspiring projects. Easy to see that these circular economies are popping up in places where Bitcoin is most needed. I am aware of the fact that there are circular economies that are not active on Nostr, but the trend seems to be clear.
My gut feeling is that Africa has a couple of BIG advantages compared to more developed continents, such as Europe.
1. The locals have a healthy mistrust of local governments, politicians and other authorities.
The local people must find it hilarious when the local authorities threaten them by saying that if they do not do what they are told, the authorities cannot guarantee their safety, global warming will make it hard to live there, and financial institutions will collapse resulting into people not getting their retirement money.

2. The infrastructure of technocracy is not as advanced.
3. People are more used to face-to-face communication. Lots of people who don’t own smart phones.
Hi Natalie! When was the interview recorded? #Bitcoin
Merry Christmas everyone! #Christmas #Nostr
I have to say that you have a unique ability to communicate things. I will adopt that comment into my "orangepilling tool kit"
Perhaps I could write a book and go for even more top of the funnel stuff… the title could be something like ‘Why the f@ck is everything so expensive?!’ and the subtitle ‘If you cannot afford this book, download it for free from whythefuckiseverythingsoexpensive.com’.
Yes, definitely.
MacGregor seems like a great guy. I have been listening to him for a long time, and I get the idea that he is genuine. I have heard him on many podcasts (Natalie, Judge Napolitano, etc.), but I never understood that he is easily Natalie’s most popular guest. I would have imagined that Dollar Mike is her most popular guest. But it’s not even close.
I am also looking forward to reading Natalie’s book. I think that there is a big demand for a book that tries to make it as easy as possible for people to understand what is going on. That is why I love the fact that the title (‘Bitcoin is for everyone’) is simple and inclusive (in a good way). Top of the funnel stuff.
A retired colonel, who seems to be genuinely worried about the direction of the country (and western world in general). I think that he understands pretty well the problems related to the monetary system. He is a regular guest on Natalie’s podcast, Judge Andrew Napolitano’s podcast https://www.youtube.com/@judgingfreedom and on some other podcasts too.
Check him out. I think that you find him interesting.
Nobody asked me anything, but I see Luke as an honest person. Nothing I have seen from him has made me think otherwise.
If it was not Luke, I would not know that David Rogers Webb existed. So, thanks Luke! However, I don’t think he REALLY understands Bitcoin. Luke sees Bitcoin as an asset, and that is why he is trying to time the market.
“Divide and conquer” is an age-old tactic. But it could be “unite and conquer”. So, we should not be angry or disappointed with people who don’t agree with us. Instead we should be patient. I have huge problems with that myself.
