Due to the impending Bitcoin halving, the amount of Nostr notes about Bitcoin have now doubled to compensate. I don't make the rules. (No one does. Nostr is an open protocol.)

That's not quite true. The inflation is going to be cut in half; that doesn't mean that the value of it doubles.
