How do you know the relay you connect to is legit, because of TLS/ DNS? Can relays sync with each other, so am I posting to mulitple relays just to post and ensure my post are seen by the mulitple silos?

Relays can’t fake signatures. All they can do is censor (drop messages). Not sure what you mean by ‘legit’.
