i would not call them salespeople, sales is what every founder will have to learn how to do, and it’s a lot deeper than anything Cardone is on about

they only perpetuate the sleaziness stereotype of sales

Unfortunately it does often work in practice. I found some people really like being told what to think (how or what to buy) if you cater to their biases.

Of course. They’ll get annoyed if you don’t tell them what to buy. People don’t want to be sold to, but they love being sold.
