after annexation of sabah & sarawak,malayan living there are relativelt deprived of free movement there. but they still have peninsular malaysia to call home. they are not denied rights to voting.
on the other hand,legal wise sabahan and sarawakian are not deprived of any rights
Actually, its the legal movement of peninsula that was restricted into East Malaysia.
