Some days are light as a feather and buoyant. You float through them.

Others are heavy. Lead-heavy, they put weight and pain on your shoulders. Presses one firmly to the earth.

Today was a hard day. But I know others will follow. I know that all will be well.

And I am infinitely grateful for every day with the people I love. Even for the hard days.
