My birds love this finished Johnson Su compost.
Going to keep peeling back the layers, using this as my base soil to build new garden beds.
Every layer I peel back will create a frenzy of bugs for the birds to grub on. #permies

I use my birds for compost labor as well. They turn, I add. Cuts food costs significantly as well.
That was the exact plan I had when I placed the Johnson Su in this location.
I moved all that mulch by hand from a decent distance, imagine how tall that pile was before it broke down π€£.
