I still remember in 2023 when the bootlickers said that spam wouldn't be a problem, that it was just a temporary issue. Almost three years later, it's clear that it has been a huge problem, because more than 90% of transactions have been spam.

The same thing will happen with the new Core changes.

People are very stupid, as they demonstrate in their daily economic activities.

It's an completly unnecessary change and hill to die on. I cannot, at all, wrap my head around why we should do this.

As an individual I have zero benefit in dropping the filter.

If order for your node to validate blocks you need every tx inside it

That's fine, but I don't need to facilitate getting stupid stuff in the chain in the first place. It's a conscious decision most of the network is doing currently.
