lol NIST

I can't believe it's been taken this long to be honest.

Is this โ€œthe fixโ€ that is coming?

Reporting a โ€˜vulnerabilityโ€™ in Bitcoin to a US Government agency? Seriously?

Satoshi would be rolling in his grave

I don't think so. All previous vulnerabilities have CVE numbers.

This all seems incredibly retarded

I've been saying Inscriptions are taking advantage of a software vulnerability since last March.

Make Inscriptions pay the same price as financial transactions instead of hiding in the signature witness data, saving on 1/4 of the fees and then I'll be happy. They'll be paying just like everyone else. Rgith now, they are not. They're exploiting the system to pay 1/4 of the amount.

Thats exactly what they wanted! With the cve people now have a fear that something is broken.

It's a joke, what's the government gonna do, make everyone run different software?

LMAO at the tardedness

This is so retarded I love it

Your post is generating a lot of discussion.

Honestly this being a CVE is embarrassing for all of us.

Yeah, but some people will never learn! Bitcoin can not be changed because a person or a group thinks something is spam. Thatโ€™s why I love Bitcoin, itโ€™s resilient against this bullshit.

Oh damn I didnโ€™t see you had already posted it

canโ€™t the devs do something

What should they do? Itโ€™s a valid use case made with valid transactions. Creating a CVE for a setting everyone can change freely is extremely embarrassing
