That is weird, because merchants are important members of Bitcoin community. Do you live in Rome?
Living here for a few months. Yeah, I know of one place for sure that accepts, and there's a handful on nostr:nprofile1qqsra2ey033mkdwl5w8q0jss9ak69zafh82xsuvhwsaauw3trkq2amgpz9mhxue69uhkummnw3ezuamfdejj7qgcwaehxw309anxjmr5v4ezumn0wd68ytnhd9hx2tck28qzu but I'm not sure how legit they are from the map. I never see any signs or anything either
