I played violin when I was younger. I got really good but I never had fun. I just learned, practiced, and performed when I needed to. There's a really sad anime called Your Lie in April that I love, but it destroyed me because it was about that.

That’s too bad. Unfortunately I learned that the hard way with my older children, I pushed them to the point of zero enjoyment. They play well, but hate it. And I hate that’s it’s my fault. Doing things much different with dd. Music is just in her and I can only hope she finds continual joy in it!
