If all that Bitcoin makes possible, including payments on Lightning, is hidden away, distilled and diluted into nothing more than a handful of API calls, our peaceful revolution has failed.
The work is to infuse and instill. If it takes another decade, so be it.
Disagree... bitcoin will be baked into every value transaction. You will use bitcoin when you get an email, listen to a song, get a news report. It will all happen in the background and only .000001% of the world will know how it works or why. Just like the internet.

There are those who would package up and hide away the capabilities of Bitcoin inside black boxes, exposing only what they want through APIs they control. It’s easier to implement/consume for the incumbents, but it blunts the impact.
