Ive got a laptop thats on all the time for my home miners - would a simple lenovo thinkpad with like 250 gb memory and 8 gb ram be sufficient to run a relay ?
Easily, way overkill, it can run on way smaller hardware

tor project website doesnt seem to have a step by step guide for how to setup a relay. Any suggestions ? I have tor running on my unbuntu lap top already, just need to know how to adjust to make it a middle relay (i believe that is most suitable for me based on my readings).
I think I got this up and running, but unsure how to check that my relay is running and participating in the network. I installed tor arm but wasn't able to figure out how to start it up to monitor my relay. Any quick suggestions to get me over the hump here ? π€
Damn. I had it running for months proxying traffic, but few days ago stoped it because was to much load on my umbrel. Running it again now :)

Shit, btcpayserver upgrade must have broken something. Fixing it. Self custodial zaps demand some support. Worth it tough :) Anyway I received the sats π
Have no idea why btcpayserver stoped generating zap receipts after upgrade. Decided to install nostdress instead from nostr:npub1nxa4tywfz9nqp7z9zp7nr7d4nchhclsf58lcqt5y782rmf2hefjquaa6q8 and it's working great.
Would be nice to have a ready easy to install umbrel package for nostdress.
A little late to this post (and I don't actually expect sats) but this post inspired me to just give it a shot to get a tor relay set up on my lap top that is already on all the time. I think I succeeded just now π
