Ive got a laptop thats on all the time for my home miners - would a simple lenovo thinkpad with like 250 gb memory and 8 gb ram be sufficient to run a relay ?

tor project website doesnt seem to have a step by step guide for how to setup a relay. Any suggestions ? I have tor running on my unbuntu lap top already, just need to know how to adjust to make it a middle relay (i believe that is most suitable for me based on my readings).
I think I got this up and running, but unsure how to check that my relay is running and participating in the network. I installed tor arm but wasn't able to figure out how to start it up to monitor my relay. Any quick suggestions to get me over the hump here ? 🤙
