I am QUITE convinced that there would have been a full on revolution in Canada

If the media wasn't owned by the government

I watched the Canada vs USA hockey game the other night - first time in a LONG time I've watched mainstream TV

And I was absolutely blown away by the amount of propaganda fed through the screen

From the ads, presentation, broadcast

Everything was full on in your face propaganda

They are trying to turn the USA (because of Trump) into our enemies

It is beyond sickening and infuriating

And I have no idea how this improves or changes or anything of that effect

Personally I love the USA and most Americans. I think it makes a ton of sense for Canada and the US to combine forces - however that looks

There are way too many Canadians who are completely brainwashed and brain dead. And ALL because the government owns every major media company

We need change and we need to start with our media. Although they have lost significant influence through the last few years, they are still penetrative minds through sporting events

Pray for Canadian minds

Alberta (other than half or more of the people who live in the 2 major cities, many of wich have come here in the past few years), Saskatchewan and most of B.C. (other than the SW corner are pretty much just far far North Texas (I have worked in all these places) in many ways full of many guns more guns than people I would assume and trucks to big to fit in any spot other than maybe a Costco parking lot (thanks Costco). Buy yes we'll teach you to ride that Moose (actually an unexpected close Moose encounter is actually pretty darn scary even with a rifle).

I 100% agree with all this I still listen to the radio when I am driving and every radio station pretty well is doing the same thing trying to make us think the USA is our enemy and we need to "fight back" It's complete bullshit and it's the ads and the "banter" (wich is obviously scripted) from the DJs. First we don't have the power (manpower, firepower or market power) to make any real serious impact on them they on the other hand do have more than enough to make serious impacts on Canada and Canadians. Second we will all benefit from trying to work together as we have for many decades even though Trump says they pay to subsidize us they actual benefit from open trade with us including buying Canadian oil at a discounted rate as they have for years. It also amazes me how many "smart" people around me just eat it right up. It's terrifying to me. I am glad to know there is are still Canadians like you out there Jor thanks for keeping hope alive for me. All the best.
