Anything that's not bitcoin is a shitcoin. And anyone trying to scam others with his/her shitcoin is known as a shitcoiner.

The idea that anyone supporting other POW coins is a scammer. But, somehow #bitcoin community is immune to scammers. Should do their homework.
Last year, an African country currency was collapsing and people were trying to get out of their local currency and Bitcoin local was charging 60% fee. So, who is scamming who?

Litecoin is a shitcoin, however it’s one of the most “useful ones” because it’s such a direct fork of Bitcoin that people have tested things on it which eventually became Bitcoin features (such as segwit)
Definitely not useful as money though and it does fix any scaling problems. It has slightly bigger and faster blocks but it actually takes longer for the same settlement assurances and the POW is nothing compared to Bitcoins. The only reason it is cheap to use is because almost nobody uses it.
Don't forget how their CEO dumped all his stash on his gullible shitcoin followers.

There are no worthwhile shitcoins. Immaculate conception is not just some “religious Bitcoin maxi” concept - it makes sense. Anyone who created a new system of money after Bitcoin was already aware of Bitcoins success and therefore was incentivized to manipulate the system to their own benefit.
However, out of all the shitcoins, Litecoin has historically been one of the more “legitimate” and useful. It’s still a shitcoin but it’s fundamentally different from an ERC-20 token or something like Solana.

I disagree with the scaling issues. Back several months ago when the plebs uploaded all those NFT images to the chain which caused bitcoin fees to soar. At that same time you saw the creation of litecoin wallets spike and you litecoin transactions volume ballon and litecoin network didn’t seem to flinch. Even with network(nodes) being no where near in size as the bitcoin network.
Node count doesn’t matter at all in terms of transaction volume. Do you understand how blockspace works? Honest question. There’s no need to speculate - it’s very easy to understand the maximum limit for on-chain transactions on both Bitcoin and Litecoin. Neither of them are even close to being able to service all global transactions on-chain.
There were 153 transactions in the lates Litecoin block - blocks aren’t even close to full and the mempool is cleared. Meanwhile Bitcoin had 3,484 transactions in its latest block and has over 200,000 pending in mempool. Do you see the difference?
