GM Nostr!

I just wanted to share my story from the middle of the night.

I was sleeping deeply, but on some level of consciousness, I always hear, understand, and feel everything around me.

A couple of times, I felt a tickling sensation on my chin, moving toward my lips. I scratched it absentmindedly and kept sleeping.

But then, for the third time, I distinctly felt little legs almost walking on my lower lip.

I caught that little creature, hoping it was just a flea.

I rushed to the bathroom, threw it in, and looked closer.

And there it was…

A FUCKING TICK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

It was scrambling around under the toilet rim. Without a second thought, I flushed it away.

Of course, I was sleeping, cuddled up with Molly, and naturally, it could happen like that.

One of the things I absolutely despise and find disgusting are ticks and all those tiny, creepy insects.

So, friends, take care of yourselves and each other—those tiny bugs are on duty while we sleep.

🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢

gm, that happens 😢

Crazy, right! Haven’t really slept since and feeling tickling all over my body 😬

a tick? those things are supposed to be in high grass and the forest right?

Nahhh in the garden.. I was surprised too, believe me. Thought too early for them.

yea.., those things are freaking dangerous if unnoticed

I couldn’t sleep, whole day just ruined

Yuk I fuck ing hate them! Pro tip: if you find one on the pup but don't have those special tweezer things are can hold an alcohol soaked tissue onto it's body and poison it. We did this and thought it hadn't worked, then we found the tick on the floor and it had literally exploded.

Glad you caught it!

I have those tweezers in every bag because in Latvia, ticks are everywhere, plus 50 percent of the country is covered by forests. After just one walk in the woods, dogs can get 20+ ticks in their fur. 😁

The main thing is to make sure they don’t burrow in, but if they do, remove them correctly.

gosh! that would really freak me out. I guess you just learn how to deal with them

Not the first time 😄 I’ve catch them in more private areas walking 😂😂
