No it doesn't show any "shift in tone torward crypto". It's a PR stunt which could lead to more money for the election campaign. Don't give your bitcoin to dementia man or orange man, they don't give a flying fuck about bitcoin (or cRyPtO for that matter).
Orange man doesn't accept bitcoin. He just accepts Coinbase IOUs

Coinbase makes it almost impossible to withdraw. They can't wait and are probably begging for the government to make it illegal
