The revolution won't be televized.

Said by Gil Scott-Heron in 1971.

The essence of his poetic message is that when the TV shows you the revolution, the revolution has already happened.

Since July 1st, the European watchdog wants us to make photo's of our laptop screen when we send Bitcoin to the exchange!

So here i sit, in a darkened living room taking "proper" photo's of my Bitcoin wallet app. "Proving" that my Bitcoin is MY Bitcoin!

My wife asks me if I have lost my mind.

"No, I havent, dear... this is official government protocol."

The revolution is under way. It's not on TV yet.

And one day, there will be stories... on TV... about how we used to prove simple, legal transactions in a dark living room with a photo of a laptop screen! But they will leave out how WE were viewed as the weird ones.
