Why is it that Bitcoiners rarely buy yachts, lamb's or luxury clothing?
It's obvious they are "a kind of person".
They sit on a small fortune, but still roam thriftshops and buy second hand automobiles.
I don't think they are cheap skates or averse to spending money. But they simply aren't tempted by luxury or gloating.
If a bitcoiner is a fisher, he will buy a nice quality rod. If a Bitcoiner is a runner, he buys the good shoes. If a Bitcoiner is a gamer, he buys a good laptop.
Then he's proud and happy with that one expensive thing, but the rest of his stuff is normal.
Even the Bitcoiners who run families are indistinguishable from normal, working/middle class families.
No holidays in Cambodia or some far off tropical island. The kids don't wear expensive clothing and they don't have those small electric Hummers.
This behavior, which seems to be a common trade in Bitcoiners, is going to have a massive impact on the planet in a decade or two.
Sociological, economical and political.
Because they are going to be the wealthiest people on the planet... and they do not waste their money. They allocate capital towards things that matter to them and towards nothing else.
It's not because it's their conviction. It's not because it's their believe, their faith or opinion.
It's because this behavior is natural to them. It's a trait they're born with. It's instinctual.
It will be a golden age for humanity. It will be the first time ever that the rich aren't greedy, wasteful or decadent.
For the first time ever, the global money supply will be distributed by humble people, with strong ethical values who actually think before they spend.
A group of people with a deep feeling for community and freedom.
The revolution won't be televized.
Said by Gil Scott-Heron in 1971.
The essence of his poetic message is that when the TV shows you the revolution, the revolution has already happened.
Since July 1st, the European watchdog wants us to make photo's of our laptop screen when we send Bitcoin to the exchange!
So here i sit, in a darkened living room taking "proper" photo's of my Bitcoin wallet app. "Proving" that my Bitcoin is MY Bitcoin!
My wife asks me if I have lost my mind.
"No, I havent, dear... this is official government protocol."
The revolution is under way. It's not on TV yet.
And one day, there will be stories... on TV... about how we used to prove simple, legal transactions in a dark living room with a photo of a laptop screen! But they will leave out how WE were viewed as the weird ones.
Little known fact.
Laszlo eventually bought 8 pizzas for 40,000 BTC.
He kept the deal up for a while.
People think Orwell had it right, with his boom 1984.
But Huxley was closer to the truth, I feel.

But Sats is just an abbreviation of the first name of our diety. It makes sense, only to the ones who have been into bitcoin, when it needed a diety.
Bitcoin is ready to leave the nest. Just smile through your tears and be proud. Bitcoin belongs to the world now, not just to us.
I know it's an unpopular opinion, but...
I voted for Bits on Reddit back in the day and I was surprised people liked Satoshis more.
I said that Satoshi is a very common name in Japan and it's like calling it Kevins.
I thought it was a weird name and I didn't like the deification of Satoshi Nakamoto. I said that I would make Bitcoiners look like a cult.
But alas. I also grown accustomed to Sats now. Also, I still believe the above and Bits would have been better if we just started off with it.
The best way to make money, is to loan out money to poor people. Because poor people know the value of money and they try to pay you back, first and foremost.
The worst way to make money, is to work for rich people. Because they think 100 bucks is nothing... so they hold off paying you, though you need it for groceries.
If people say that you smell nice, they actually say: you've used too much cologne.
Wow.... AmericanHodl...

Holy balls! I've only just found out about this! Need..
I don't like sub 60k #Bitcoin 😥
Why do they always call it "The powers that be" and not "the powers that are"?
When you're dad is editor in chief at CNN...

Many #Bitcoiners would vote for #Trump because his policies are #Bitcoin friendly.
But #Kamala will inflate the $dollar like a hot air balloon. Because her policies are untenable.
And Maybe... just maybe... thats even beter for bitcoin... 🫨🫣
Vote #Harris?! 😱
😥
