It's an old #Bitmain S9. It's wildly inefficient.
It produces about 9T/h at 700
Watts.
I pay about 10 times more for electricity, than I get in #Bitcoin. But I figure like this; I believe the sats I mine will go up 15 times in the coming 5 years. So they are still cheap! 🤣
Main reason tho: contribute to the network.
A good friend of mine said: Hobbies cost money.
If the #Bitcoin price goes Down or stagnates... while the ETF inflows are positive.
It means HODLers are selling.
I started off as a degen shitcoiner. And I lost a load of money. Because I was an extremist.
Then I became a 13%, 80 IQ #Bitcoin maximalist. And I became rigid. Because I was an extremist.
It took me 10 years. But I think I'm finally at a point where I can see the two as completely separate and non contradictory.
Bitcoin is a hard asset. A vehicle for saving, certainty and security. It's great.
The rest is for tech, gambling and trading. And it's also great. It's fine.
You can be a maxi bitcoiner, but enjoy the crypto tech, crypto hype and the crypto casino.
This rise in #Bitcoin price is only exacerbating my FOMO.
