#asknostr #needplumber

I just want to be perfectly clear that I am not a plumber... but I did try my hand at it today.

Sink wouldn't drain properly before so I decided to re-plumb everything.

Well it's safe to say it drains better...but still not properly SMH.

I watched so many videos and I still must've done somthing wrong. No idea what it could be.

When one Sink fills up and then drains it flows into the second Sink. Also when the right Sink is draining, if I plug the left Sink, the right Sink stops draining.

Wondering if anyone on here knows what I might have fucked up?

Also not a plumber, but if one sink doesn't drain while the other is blocked, vaccum pressures could stop flow, indicating the system is sealed somehow.

can't tell by the photos, but if you have new pipes there, and you have the leveled correctly to drain towards the septic, it must be a deeper issue.

Once upon a time, I lived in a manufactured home. I had a similar issue.

Turns out while there was no trailer on the pad, kids dropped cement chunks into the drain pipe.

Sounds like deep blockage to me.

Hmm... I did put a clean out at the bottom and before everything I ran a snake in the system everything seemed good. I dint think it's a clog, I suspect it's a fluid dynamic gone wrong..

Best of lubk o7.

The joys of plumbing, lol. If I was to guess, it sounds like it needs some air to release pressure and help the water flow faster in the right direction. I think the right sink sitting lower than the left may be contributing to it.

Perhaps a connector with an open hose inlet that fits below the right sink, above the p-trap and the left-sink connecting pipe (assuming the left picture is the newer one).

Otherwise, I would start by isolating one sink from the other and work from there based on how it flows.

Yeah, definitley felt a little defeated today haha. I'm going to get some opinions from some actual plumbers before I just tear Into it again. I think you're probably right. I need to figure out the flow of it and get it done right.
