It really is not that there is never a time for violent coercion.

I used to ask potential new hires, "What is a good reason to be late for work?”

"None", many would instantly respond. But that wasn't true. If someone got in a car accident or if they were waylaid by highwaymen that might be acceptable. So their answers would suggest if applicants could discern the difference between good reasons and bad ones.

Back to coercion...

It's okay to coerce behavior when they are violating your rights.

Some examples:

If they break into your house...

If they try to take your life...

If they are stealing your property...

If they try to lock you in a cage...

It seems to me patriots, law abiding citizens, and other statists are incapable of making such clear distinctions. They advocate for violence when the State insists on violating human rights.
