I can see the comics flying off the shelves! 🤣
A man sits by a river, he has no fishing rod, he has no net; and yet he sits. The water comes and goes and nothing seems to happen. What John sees is not a river, however, but the vessel of the fruits of his plan hatched years ago. Slowly, the river reveals his quarry has his enemies float on by.
The reader waiting for some action:

It begins: Uncertain where the water came from, it flows immediately and unnaturally from the metal tube made presumably by some man hands, somewhere in exchange for a meagre wage. Yet, it provides water in quantaties his ancestors would have fought wars over. Contemplating the unnatural abundance of his aquatic bounty, he fills the wrought iron pot.
