Come on. This is awesome. I’ve always loved their UI

Reinstalled it just now. Glad they have risen from the ashes 🤓

The cloud is just someone else's computer.

yes but most people do not have google or apple in their threat model and phoenix gives a big warning when users enable cloud

Best phone wallet

It is currently the only "complete" wallet I have on mobile.

The only alternative to onboard new bitcoiners with something they can send/receive onchain and LN is Muun, which is much easier.

But of course lacks a few things on custody.

In regard to who the person is I would advise to - well - advise one or the other.

And then of course a nice Cashu wallet as companion 😉

I use Phoenix. Can someone test zap me please? I'll zap them right back

Thanks for trying Matt, if you did. My Phoenix wallet is Bolt12 while Nostr zaps use Bolt11. So Nostriches need to be aware of this if they act on your Phoenix recommendation. I can send nostr zaps but can't receive any. 😔

Only annoying thing with phoenix is its incompatibility with #robosats

I understand its a decision from phoenix to not support such long time lock periods, but its still annoying. Wishing for some genius to solve.

Its working now

Really? What changed?

Testing for this note… we made six attempts to⚡zap this note, at activeeffort590@minibits.cash, over a period of about 1 hour. All six attempts were successful. Please check on your end to be sure you received. Average zap time was 6928ms (6.9 seconds). We consider this zap time slow... generally, zaps should complete in under two seconds. (Other Nostr users might think your zaps are broken, might not zap you again.) If you wanted to speed up your zap confirmations, you could try receiving zaps with a well-connected, cloud-based Lightning node.

I think it works since they introduced splicing but not sure if that is the reason.

I dont think thats it, splicing is a quite a while ago and I've been unsuccesful using phoenix since. Will test next time, anyway thanks for heads up
