i love my idobao ID75... i have two of them in case the circuit totally dies on one, the other is upstairs spare

i wish it was a 90 key thing, idk why that wasn't an idea in their minds, it's impossible to find a simple ortho 90 key anywhere... best i can do is a 140 key cherry thing

been pecking at this thing for 4 years now and i hope i can eventually expand my rig to a nice 90 or 105 key grid, 90 would be enough

mechanical keyboards are a one way deal, once you start using them, you don't want to go back, especially for me... supposedly cherry silvers are "gaming" keyboards but i find them extremely suitable for my code editing needs, even, thet gaming benefits are peripheral, most of my time i am just "yay, i have fast keys that don't require me to push them hard"

the current keys i have are 38n actuation, and previously i had cherry silvers, these are gateron ... white? clear? idk, they are clear, but the base is white, they are better, and i hardly need to touch these things and honestly i could deal with a lighter press than this, but maybe a deeper actuation depth

oh it's not spare upstairs, it's attached to my bitcoin full node rig

Good to know on the silvers. I just heard of them looking up this link. I haven't touched a new keyboard since 2019 I think.

Ortholinear ftw 👍
